31-year civil servant wins MTN two-bedroom apartment

A 31-YEAR-OLD civil servant, Samuel Obeng Amoako, has won a two-bedroom apartment worth $93,000 at DevTraco Court in Tema for emerging the ultimate winner of the MTN ‘Taking Over’ promo.

Mr Maxwell Arthur, Senior Specialist at the Consumer Segment at MTN, explained that in all, over 51 customers in the promo were awarded for the month of March and April.

According to him, the winners were vetted by KPMG, an international audit firm.

Mr Arthur explained the company had invested millions in the lives of their customers to appreciate them by organising activities that would impact their lives.

He added that customers in the promo took away 20 brand new Hyundai cars, GH¢560,000.00 through Mobile Money (MoMo), 500 4G compatible handsets, including iPhone 8, Samsung 8 and  one million worth of airtime.

Mr Amoako, in an interview with the DAILY HERITAGE, thanked MTN for organising the promo because it has helped him to become a house owner within a few months.

According to him, he got motivated when his friend won in one of MTN promos and so decided to participate in the just-ended promo.

“I only entered the promo to see how it works and here I am, having won a house. I will rent it out to make a lot of investments and urge others who do not believe in these promos to take a bold step because they never know their fate,” he said.

Some of the winners are Lawer Gabriel-Amoatey, who drove home  a brand new Hyundai Sonata; Mustapha Ahmed Toufiq and Bright Ankrah Twumasi had Hyundai Elantra each; Joyce Tutu a Hyundai Accent; with Justina Sarfo, Bernard Adu-Tutu and Daniel Addo given Hyundai i10 each.
