AS PART of activities marking Mother’s Day celebration, Kasapa FM on Saturday, May 12, 2018, put smiles on the faces of mothers on the old premises of the station at Adabraka.
The maiden programme, dubbed Kasapa ‘Ena Pa’, was packed with series of activities, and the health screening saw over 400 women screened for free. Mothers who gathered at the event had healthy living tips from invited medical practitioners during the screening exercise.
Aside the free health screening, selected young women participated in a cooking contest to provide food for the mothers present. The overall winner of the contest, Naa Amalley, a student of GH Media School and a mother of three took home an electric cooker, a hamper from Ghandour Cosmetics and a carton each of Viva Life Drink and Veraldo Drink (from Kasapreko).
The first runner-up, Diana, was presented with a blender, Ghandour cosmetics, a hamper, a cartons each of Viva Life Drink and Veraldo Drink.
Awotwe Pratt was presented with electric iron, a hamper from Ghandour Cosmetics, cartons of Viva Life Drink and Veraldo drink as the second runner-up.
Fourth to tenth winners were all presented with hampers from Ghandour Cosmetics and a carton each of Viva Life Drink and Veraldo Drink.
Marketing and Event Manager of Kasapa FM, Kwabena Bediako Antwi-Darko (IBK), stated that the event was dedicated to mothers, to celebrate their efforts in raising the future generation.
According to him, mothers hardly set aside time to have fun with their children, so Kasapa FM created the opportunity to allow children to cook for their mothers. He promised a better Mother’s Day event next year.
The event was sponsored by Hair Planet Beauty College, Globafirm Vaginal Tightening cream, Yum-mie Instant Noodles, Bel-Aqua Mineral Water, Ghandour Cosmetics, Viva Life Drink and Veraldo Soft Drink from Kasapreko and the media partner was Agoo TV.
The GH Media School Band treated mothers present at the event with music.
