Education still a priority in Agona East Constituency

The Member of Parliament for Agona East, -Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr fulfilled a promise she made to selected schools in her constituency, to provide them with dual desks.
The distribution started with Agona Akwakwaa AEDA school benefiting 100 dual desks out of 500 the MP provided.
Pokuah Sawyerr provided the desks in fulfillment of a promise she made to the school children when she visited teachers during school hours across the constituency a month ago as part of her working tour and to boost moral of the teachers.
Some of the schools she visited previously had five pupils sharing one desk and others on the bare floor.
The excitement on the faces of the children, teachers and parents signified relief and hope.
The MP also took the opportunity to meet with political activists that showed up in their numbers to show love and later visited party faithfuls of the National Democratic Congress at Obratwawu, Mankrong, Mankrong jnc, Nsuekyir and Domoki to educate members on the upcoming branch elections.
Queenster Sawyerr urged them to vote for dedicated and committed members that will diligently serve the party at both constituency and regional levels of the NDC.
