The Ashanti Regional Police Commander COP Ken Yeboah has called on residents of Agogo to provide the Ghana Police Service with necessary information to enable them win the fight against Fulani herdsmen in the area.
According to COP Ken Yeboah though his outfit has put proper measures in place to clamp down all Fulani herdsmen from Agogo, it would be difficult for them to win the fight if they do not get the needed support from residents of Asante Ahyem Agogo.
Commenting on the Military verses Fulani men unfortunate shooting said the police will never get discouraged as far as the fight against Fulani herdsmen is concerned.
Ken Yeboah assured that the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinating Council (REGSEC) will heighten security situation at Agogo to protect residents from any future occurrences.
He says “Help us to win the fight against Fulani herdsmen by assisting us with any information about their where about. Fulani issue at Agogo will soon be a thing of the past because we are going to put proper measures in place to deal with the menace. We are all aware that three  military men and one  police officer were shot by the Fulani herdsmen but it is not going to discourage nor and stop us from fighting them”.
However, he warned Agogo residents not to take the law into their own hands to deal with the menace and their cattle stressing the law will deal with them accordingly.
