Bantama Gang Rape: Asokwa Court Remands Suspects Into Juvenile Cells

Asokwa district court (one) presided over by his lordship Mr Peter Oppong Boahen has remanded the three suspected Bantama rapists into juvenile cells.
They are to reappear in court Wednesday December 27th.
Charges levelled against the suspects are conspiracy to committee rape to wit rape.
The proceeding was held in camera since the parties involved are Juveniles.
The suspects who pleas were not taken will be in juvenile cells until Wednesday December 27, 2017 to enable the prosecution to conduct thorough investigations.
Lawyer for the suspects, John Boamah told the media in court that the police are yet to complete their investigations.
Seven school boys have subjected a teenage girl to a painful sexual ordeal but only three have been arrested with the police still chasing the other four who have gone missing.
The boys, were seen in a video footage gang-raping the teenager at Bantama in Kumasi.
