Asiedu Nketia Arrested Over Recruitment Scam

A plumber in Assin Fosu, a suburb of the  Central Region, Asiedu Nketia and another accomplice has been arrested for being at the centre of a police and immigration recruitment scam that hit the Assin North Municipality.
Asiedu Nketia and his accomplice, identified as Auntie Aggie, a cleaner at the Assin Fosu Immigration Training School were arrested for collecting amounts ranging from GHC 1,500 to GHC 4,000 from persons who sought admission into the Police and Immigration Services.
They were said to have promised to help them with recruitment into the police and immigration services.
The two suspects led police to arrest of one Professor Lawson in Accra, who is alleged to have been the brain behind the scam.
